3 Days Ngorongoro Trail

Transfer: Nairobi – Arusha
Depart Nairobi for Arusha by shuttle bus. There are two departures 0800hrs. to arrive at 1230hrs. or 1400hrs. to arrive at 1830hrs. We stop at Namanga border town for immigration formalities then proceed onto Arusha. Meals and overnight at extra cost.

Day 01: Arusha - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro with picnic lunches for an afternoon crater tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite on Full Board Basis.

Day 02: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you, descend to the crater floor for a day of tracking game with your guide. The crater is 670 meters deep and 260 square kilometers and contains a constant animal population of varied species. Break for lunch at the Lerai picnic site. In the evening ascend up and out of the crater. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite on Full Board Basis.

Day 03: Ngorongoro - Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch then board the shuttle back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.

Transfer: Nairobi - Arusha

Day 01: Arusha – Lake Manyara
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The main attraction here is the tree climbing lions. The park is small in size but the terrain is diverse. The vegetation comprises of ground-water forest, open grassland, swamp and acacia woodland with giant mahogany and fig trees. The park is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite on Full Board Basis.

Day 02: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you, drive to the Ngorongoro crater and descend down its wall for a full day crater tour. It is a thrilling experience to descend down and out of the narrow and steep crate walls of 670 metres’ depth. Ngorongoro is the largest crater in the world. Flamingoes can be seen seasonally in the crate lake. Many animals which have made this crater their permanent home can be seen on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite on Full Board Basis.

Day 03: Ngorongoro - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro conservation area for Arusha for lunch then proceed to Nairobi via Namanga border town arriving in the evening.
